One of Jack Franks’ Patronage Employees Gone

When Democrat Jack Franks took office as McHenry County Board Chairman, one of the first things he did was bring two campaign operatives onto the county payroll.

One was paid campaign assistant Bridgett Geenen.

Throughout his campaign to unthrone Franks, Republican Mike Buehler pledged to get rid of his opponent’s patronage workers.

The reason given on Geenen’s termination papers is “incoming County Board Chairman has determined he will not be utilizing an Executive Assistant to the Chairman position.”

The other patronage position was Oliver Serifini.

Serifini, being a good little patronage employee, campaigned for Franks at the McHenry Business Expo and was caught on camera by Board member Chuck Wheeler.

Serifini went onto greener fields and was replaced by former Northwest Herald reporter Kevin Craver.

Craver is the one sending me county press releases.

  1. So Chairman Beuhler still finds it necessary to have a PR person?

Why isn’t The Craven gone yet?

  2. WHAAAAT?????

You mean the guy that was elected is actually going to do the job himself???

Hahah I knew that, that’s why I voted for Buehler.

  3. So far, so good!

I like an individual who will say what he’ll do and does what he says (unlike the Jackal)

  4. How is jacks victim of sexual harassment being treated as the case gets a little buried

  5. Is Kevin looking for a new job?

He should be if he’s still employed by the county

  6. Probably won’t be sending out congratulatory letters to high school graduates either.

  7. Is it the same Sefferini whose undergoing gender reassignment surgery at taxpayer expense?
