Multi Agency Death Investigation
On March 2, 2021 the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations and the Roscoe Police Department discovered a deceased body in a storage unit at Route 251 and McCurry Road, Roscoe IL.
This investigation was initiated from a missing person’s report received by the Holiday Hills Police Department on January 3, 2021.
On January 26, 2021 the investigation was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
Through the course of the investigation, probable cause was established to obtain a search warrant, and the execution of the warrant was performed at the storage unit where a deceased body was located.
The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as the reported missing person, Michelle Arnold-Boesigner, female 33 years of age.
The death investigation is currently ongoing between multiple agencies.
