Kinzinger Tramples Second Amendment, Votes with Dems to Pass Massive Gun Control Legislation
ROCKFORD, IL – In a vote earlier today, never-Trump “Republican” Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) was one of only eight House Republicans to join with Democrats to vote for H.R. 8, the “Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021.”
The legislation, which has been vehemently opposed by gun rights organizations, would dramatically increase barriers to gun ownership and restrict the 2nd Amendment rights of lawful citizens across the country. Kinzinger’s support for the gun control measure is in line with his other previous efforts to water down the 2nd Amendment.
“Adam Kinzinger’s vote to pass sweeping gun control measures makes it clear that he does not believe in Americans’ 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Funny how all of the 2A thumpers think H.R. 8 is an attempt to revoke their right to keep and bear arms.
It is not.
They always seem to selectively forget that the amendment itself begins with the words, “A well-regulated militia…..”
Nothing wrong with making sure gun owners aren’t psychopaths or convicted felons.
So this part of the Bill so far is to what, just make every other State like Illinois has been since around 1970 with the FOID card process–dont even ask about the CCW process, other States gonna hate it if they go that far.
When does the “requires insurance to have a gun” part kick in, among other provisions along the way to the Dem real goal of eventual confiscation?
Aint enough LEO in the world to take all the guns Americans own.
Start with the South and West sides of Chicago with the confiscation part and get back to us with the results.
And People like BigOrange will then refuse to recognize the “The People” part, and my favorite, that pesky “shall not be infringed” thing.
