  1. Would people prefer it if these gubernatorial candidates ignored each other or criticized each other?

  2. Correcting you seem to be a chronic Debbie downer.

Personally I don’t think I want to be talked at all night.

  3. There will be people talking.

That’s literally the focus of the event — the guest speakers.

The point isn’t just to go there and eat meatballs with the same dozen precinct committeemen/activists that go to every event.

I was just asking a question on preferences to the readers of this blog, Greg.

There was nothing negative in that comment or in my response to Bot.

Anyway, these people are RUNNING AGAINST each other and you’re afraid of them criticizing one another???

What do you think politics is if not arguing against your opponent?

That’s a huge part of it.

They already argue on Twitter, and soon they’ll be doing it in public.

You better get used to it, Greg.

    They are already raising money.

If I were a candidate and I were running against other candidates, I would want potential donors to know the flaws of my opponents, otherwise why would anyone donate to any specific candidate if you can’t rank them and have favorites?

You’re going to have multiple people who say they disagree with Pritzker, but how are they different?

How is any one of them better than the others?

You find that out in the campaign and part of that campaigning WILL be negative AND THAT’S A GOOD THING!
