McHenry County Towns Where Lead Has Been Found in Drinking Water — 6 Comments

  1. Should be noted samples are taken from so many home owners homes and sent in and they ask that water not be used for so many hours.

Lots of older homes have old plumbing in them and should be updated.

Most people live from check to check and to have a plumber come out and replace pipes that dont leak can be costly.

Maybe the county can help find grants for these community s to help seniors and low income homes to update the leaded pipes.

    Just an idea.

  2. How’s the Barium level these days?

That was a big problem back in the late 70’s for Cary and FRG areas.

  3. Maybe Mark should just personally donate to have all the plumbing of section 8 ‘low income’ people who’ve been relocated by Democrats to our area refitted.

  4. Do What is the Safe Level

Am I safer drinking water in Harvard
    and not safe in Hebron

  5. A reverse osmosis unit is a whole lot cheaper than replacing pipes.
