From a hand addressed envelope comes this letter from Lakewood Village President Phil Stephan. Enclose was the card at the bottom with his name, along with that of incumbent Pam Eddy and write-in Trustee candidates Alexander Andreopoulos.

Another politician using government property for his re-election campaign.
Asking residents to go to the Village website to view his “State of the Community Address” that is also coincidentally pinned to the top of the page along with his full color, government printed campaign piece labeled as a “winter newsletter”.
The full color “winter newsletter” was mailed directly to every resident just two weeks before the paltry spring newsletter was included in our water bills.
Those of us that receive our water bills electronically didn’t even receive the spring newsletter nor is it posted on the Village website.
Ask Phil why him and Pamela Eddy are receiving pay for their positions as President and Trustee.
Ordinance 2018-13 states they should not receive any pay (an ordinance for which Phil voted YES). By April 6 they will have received $7,200 in tax payer funds that should not have been paid out.
