Split 50-50 between his reelection campaign and his Country First PAC, Kinzinger’s fundraising announcement no April Fool’s joke for his primary challengers

As first reported in the Chicago Tribune, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R, IL-16) released preliminary fundraising totals for the 1st quarter of 2021 overnight.

Kinzinger reports raising a combined $2.2 million for his campaign and his Country First PAC, reportedly split $1.1 million between the two Federal PACs.

Campaign disclosure filing for his campaign is due to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on April 15, when his spending and cash-on-hand will be disclosed.

At the end of 2020, Kinzinger reported over $1.5 million cash-on-hand.

Thus far, none of Kinzinger’s primary challengers have reported their 1st quarter fundraising results.

  1. Not surprised about Kinzinger’s war chest . . .he has Edgar, Rove and Bill Gates helping him out, to achieve the VIP Status from Illinois.

  2. Kingstinker – Just another self-serving blowhard RINO who
    is destined for political obscurity.

  3. VIP in Illinois and his KAZ, Kinzinger Autonomous Zone in the 14th.

To beat him, Trump will have to be the King-maker and place his backing behind 1 candidate and out of courtesy, they others need to drop out if they ever want to be viable in the future.

  4. Raises millions of dollars, district might get eliminated.

    lol why?

I don’t understand it, but hopefully some Lincoln Project pedos end up losing money.

I don’t get why anybody would donate money to anybody before even knowing what the districts will look like.

Maybe it’s just to scare people away from running, but there’s not even a point to that if the district is going to be eliminated so idk what these knuckleheads are doing.

  5. Correcting, I hear you.

We’ll see the itemized reports within next two weeks.

Kinzinger claims the bulk of what he’s raised is small dollar, with donations averaging $46/person

  6. Seems like Kinzinger is ready to go to battle.

Whether that’s a Senate run (which a lot of people are talking more about, could be normal rumor mill) or another run for Congress.

    Should be interesting.

James Marter in my opinion is the only one with the chops to campaign against Kinzinger – if Kinzinger runs for Congress and not Senate – but who knows if he’ll be able to raise $
