In the Village of Hebron, a four-way contest was narrowed to a one-on-one when two candidates for Village President–Steve Vole and Josh Stevens–withdrew their candidacies.
The resulting race between incumbent Kimmy Martinez and Robert Shelton resulted in Shelton’s receiving 72% of the vote.
One of the candidates who withdrew–Josh Stevens–was supported by the Democratic Party.
Time for a fresh start.
The voters have spoken 🙂
He withdrew after the deadline?
Democrats endorsed him anyway?
He got less than 5 percent of the vote.
That’s awkward.
How could Vole only get 2 votes?
