The McHenry Library District had five people running for five openings, but no candidate ran for one seat and four sought three seats, so one person was left without a chair.

Dierdre Ehredt was the one who lost for a four-year term.

Winning the four year contest were

  • Charles Riley
  • Monica Leccese

Two-year term victors were

  • Bud Alexander
  • Susan Murphy

  • Michelle Jordan

Adams and write-in Robert Johnston, Jr., were endorsed by the Democrats.

Two candidates were on the ballot for three spots in the River East Library District.

Naturally, they won.

Donovan was an endorsed Democratic Party candidate.

In the Woodstock Rual Library District (surrounding Woodstock, which has and operates the city’s library) three people ran for three seats.

The two-year slot was won by

  1. Why would anyone want to be in these positions?

These positions shouldn’t even exists let alone have elections for them.
