Recounted Election Day Paper Ballots Now Posted with Those Cast Earlier On McHenry County Clerk’s Website

Look at this link for the total unofficial results, minus write-ins.

Here is the message on the top of the County Clerk’s website page:

4/9/21 12:49 PM: Unoffical results are posted, including Election Day, Early Voting, and vote by mail ballots received and processed.

Vote by mail and provisional ballots could be received and processed up to 14 days following the election.

Write-in results will not be found on this portal but will be posted on the Clerk’s page when fully counted.

I am told that a few wrinkled ballots that could not be machine-read were duplicated and included in the results.

  1. It’s odd how there are no changes in some places but many in other places.

There might be computer monkey business or election judge monkey business.

  2. Election judges just feed the paper ballots into the scanning machine.

  3. Tirio has zero ballot security.

    Why is that?

    He is inept.

These svoting systems need to be reviewed by independent experts.

Or just do as Cal recommends, go back to paper ballots.

    What is wrong with Tirio?

  4. The more I think about it, the more I tend to agree that it doesn’t seem likely election judges were behind these errors, Cal.

Perhaps the machines were not calibrated at those places?

Whatever it is (and this is and was my main point) I hope we get to the bottom of it.

…I’m not confident we will, but we ought to and this should not be a partisan issue.
