Illinois Capitol News Runs Article about Bill Brady’s Thinking of Running for Statewide Office, Including List of Negatives

With $825,568 in his Political Action Committee, former Republican Senate Leader and 2010 GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady is thinking about running for statewide office.

According to an extensive article written by Illinois Capitol News, the former State Senator and Representative might run for

  • Secretary of State
  • Governor
  • U.S. Senate

The piece lays out pretty much all of the negatives in Brady’s career, except for a Route 57 exit near a development.

  1. Some guy who couldn’t even beat Pat Quinn more than ten years ago after Madigan’s camp was already lukewarm to Quinn and in the middle of a recession, what chances does a guy like that have running successfully for something statewide in 2022?

    Better make it SoS if he does run because he doesn’t seem like a very good politician.

  2. At least it will be nice to see him humiliated on a statewide level again.
