SPECIALIZED RECYCLING EVENT SATURDAY APRIL 24, 2021

Algonquin Township will be holding The Specialized Recycling Event this Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 8am – 12pm.

Newly-elected Algonquin Township Road Commissioner Danijela Sandberg at a previous re-cycling day.

Enter through the Hollows. There is a one way entry through the Hollows with the exit being through the Algonquin Township parking lot.

Accepted items:

1 TV or computer monitor per household per event, small kitchen electronics: blenders, toasters, vacuums, microwaves to name a few.

Additional small home electronics: calculators, electric pencil sharpeners, fax machines, modems, scanners laptop, VCR and DVD.

Used Motor Oil, Car and marine batteries, tires for a charge,

Paint for a charge.

Other Specialized Recycling Event dates are: May 22, June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25, October 30.

Brush drop-off is also open this weekend. Beginning 3pm on Friday, April 23rd and will be open till 7am Monday, April 26th.

During 8am-12pm on Saturday you must enter through the Hollows.

  1. Why is Derek Lee still an employee of our township?

    He must be let go.

  2. You realize that he was rehired because the Operating Engineers-Bob Miller contract was ruled valid, right?

    Losing an election is not cause for termination.
