The following is the response I received from a Freedom of Information request of the Village of Lakewood of Phil Stephan connections of campaign contributions over $150 to Village government:
- $500 – Oasis on 176 & 47, Inc., Elgin: Developer of the future travel center
- $1,000 – Icon Building Group, LLC , Algonquin – Developer/Builder of Brighton Oaks
- $950 – Kristen Realty, St. Charles – I do not show a Kristen Realty in our building file or vendor list
- $900 – Obertech, Inc., Naperville – I do not show an Obertech, Inc in our building file or vendor list
- $500 – Michael Smoren – Michael Smoron is the Village Attorney

Kristen Realty is related to Lighthouse Builders.
They are currently receiving fee waivers thru 2022.
Obertech is the owner of Turnberry Country Club.
The connection is they all love flushing money down the toilet.

Phil Stephan was playing typical cronyism politics.
I’m also willing to bet the contractors who worked on Redtail were paid well over customary rates for the work done there.
What if they screwed up the recording again tonight, and can’t swear in the new trustee before the new regime takes over?
Not out of the realm of possibilities with these nimrods.
Not counting on the new president and the new trustees to be sworn in on Tuesday.
I fully expect political games and nonsense by Phil and Jeannine.
