From the McHenry Township Fire Protection District:

The McHenry Township Fire Protection District (MTFPD) was dispatched on 6/17/2021 at 4:25 AM to 100 block of Navajo Ct. in McHenry IL for a shed on fire.

Emergency response units arrived on the scene within 8 minutes and found a 10 X 12 shed on fire in the back yard of the home.

Crews attacked the fire and had it under control within 10 minutes.

Six pieces of MTFPD apparatus responded to the scene consisting of 19 firefighters.

In addition, Spring Grove Fire Department and Fox Lake Department assisted at the scene. McHenry County Sheriff department also responded to the scene.
There were no firefighter or civilian injuries. The shed was deemed a total loss. Fire damage
extended to a fence and nearby pool. The home was not affected. A damage estimate is not
available at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation by MTFPD fire investigators.
