Counterfeit Bills Passed in Huntley — 17 Comments

  1. This morning I just registered the domain “barternetwork.us” for the next five years. I have many plans in creating fair and ethical for-profit business – none of them involves exchanging cash, or even using bank accounts. Bartering should be developed ASAP into something practical and sustainable (also to be safe from prosecution by the IRS), its one of my top priorities. Its not easy, but nothing easy worth doing. if you are interested visit the link under my name and send me an email.

  2. Thanks but I’ve already signed up at gimmedat.us

This site was recommended to me by many DEMOCRAT friends.

  3. HonestAbe1, that site exists, but it has a self-generated SSL cert. Its a YunoHost, and whoever built that node is clueless. What am I supposed to do with your reply, why did you posted that?

I have been mistaken for ANTIFA, BLM, Communists, Liberal, Democrat a million plus one time. The interesting part is: every time by some anonymous coward (AC) who are quick to pass judgment on others while hiding behind an alias. I hope this is not one of those cases.

By the way: “anonymous coward” is not an insult. “troll” is an insult, and I did not write that. AC is to show that while posting from behind an alias is accepted, people who use real, verifiable identities trump ACs without a doubt. ACs have “discounted credibility”.

The first time I posted online was around 1992, to dial-up BBS, and later CompuServe. Some of these “netiquette” concepts are nowhere else to be found.

  4. Isnt that what got George Floyd killed, using a counterfeit bill?

btw, what are the descriptions of the Perps who are doing this now through our area.

Memba the last 3 they caught 2 weeks ago in Cary, bonded out (thanks Judge Cowlin and crew) on like a hundred bucks…maybe its them again?

What happened to the days of the Feds and Secret Service working counterfeit cases?

Or is this now one of those defund the Po-Po charges so “the man” aint keeping the folks down.

A non violent crime so it aint really a crime kinda thinking by the Dems and Biden.

  5. The perp(s) on Route 47 may have left their DNA on the counterfeit bills.

“But those greenbacks in your wallet are hiding far more than cocaine and the flu. They’re teeming with life.

Each dollar bill carries about 3,000 types of bacteria on its surface, scientists have found. Most are harmless. But cash also has DNA from drug-resistant microbes. And your wad of dough may even have a smudge of anthrax and diphtheria.”

  6. Bob Wire’s right.

Why no description of the passers?

    More black criminals?

    Why the secrecy?

The cops don’t even release the denominations of the bills?

  7. Counterfeit bills are 20s.

Don’t count on Huntley cops for anything other than Revenue Enhancement activities.

No need to ask for description of perps – we already know.

  8. Will the Huntley cops end up spending the counterfeits?

    On steroids?

    Is that legal?

  9. Sorry Mr. Kunyik, I just got off the phone with my bank.

They still want cash for my mortgage payment.

Nothing they’ll take on a barter.

  10. IRS requires bartering be included in annual tax returns of individuals. What are the pros and cons of bartering?

  11. BigOrange – Mine too, they insist on cash. We gotta fix that somehow. But my daytime employer loves it when he is able to exchange his hard-to find surplus stock with someone else for stock he needs. As China is squeezing the supply chain bartering is the only solution, those surplus stocks are simply PRICELESS for both parties. This is not theory, this is everyday reality in the electronics business.

  12. bred winner – I have no idea yet what are the pros and cons of bartering. I simply decided to investigate this domain, and start recording its vocabulary and its dictionary.

Taxation is not something “barternetwork.us” going to be concerned about. The same with my “americafirst-il.us” network – we are not going to set policies, or my “factoryfouroh.us” network for manufacturing, my “kane-il.us” network for supply chains – they are not going to become corporations with a cash-flow and tax concerns.

They are all part of the Civil Disobedience Network, and its going to build a non-political wiki replacing the corrupt, bloated and confused Wikipedia. Accurate information is priceless, and here is a simple example:

In my “free time” I am designing, 3D printing, and building “filter panels”. I buy outdoor carpeting at Menards, chicken-wire at Home Depot, #2 nylon bolts from Bolt Depot online, and I assemble the exact same size for furnaces and air conditioners, server cabinets and for every place and purpose where there is an air filter.

Lets assume you pay about 500 USD for a replacement set. If I come up with a solution where the replacement costs 0 USD (simply remove the outdoor carpeting, wash it and reinstall it) what is it worth to you?

More importantly, we do this locally. You PICK UP the sets from my garage-shop, I do not ship it to you. You in turn tell me you happen to MAKE the #2 nylon screws, but you have a hard time to sell them because Bolt Depot is supplied from China from far less.

Its up to you to decide how do you report this to the IRS, and the same is up to me. All the barternetwork.us does is advertise products and solutions which replace more expensive products and solutions.

This is a penalty on manufacturers for stop supporting their products. If you use my air filters on a brand new furnace it is going to void the warranty. After that its your choice to decide if you want to stop buying the 500 USD sets from the manufacturer, or you take a chance.

This is just one tiny example, maybe not even very good one. But it shows you: the actual costs savings are not always the only term in this equation, most of the time the compounding interest which is going to validate the barter.

  13. I must make one crucial clarification though, “barternetwork.us” is not going to “advertise”, none of the networks and the nodes in the Civil Disobedience Network are allowed to advertise, ask for donations and endorsements, or provide endorsements.

Eventuall, the Kane County supply chain, civic, manufacturing, hospitality, etc… communities going to install our own county data-center, and we are going to create our own infrastructure supporting relevant block-chain technologies and all else possible and practical. We are going to snub Big Tech who has turned political and into a factual and historical tyrant. We are going to block Big Tech from accessing our networks, we are going to protect our networks from interference, hijacking, attempts at discrediting, deception and censorship.

I advocate this OPEN architecture to be implemented in every county in the US. If India or China implements it first – we are going to lose the “competition”, as me and others working on similar concepts have failed to persuade US citizens that owner-operated networks, a functional bartering network, and the general idea of a civil disobedience network are in their own, very best interest.

In my mind all these are interconnected, and we are on a global competitive marketplace. But I am not a salesman, that part is waiting for someone else.

  14. The internet architecture, the technology stack, the software stack I am evaluating and using for the 3rd year are all serve the purpose to create and maintain a low-low volume, highly moderated information and data exchange. Only people who are ‘authenticated’ and ‘pre-approved’ on forums such as this one here gain access, as they have a focus and purpose, and they are not going to pollute.

I apologize, by the way, for polluting the counterfeit topic with barter! If you are interested discussing this further perhaps Cal is willing to do something about that. I am happy to rant all day long.
