From the Harvard Police Department:

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS / RESISTING / CURFEW

On 07-16-21 at 0100 hrs, Leslie F. Cruz (f-21 yoa), 3313 Lake Vista Ln, Wonder Lake was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – Driver and Improper Turn Signal after she failed to properly activate her turn signal near the intersection of Northfield Ave and N Division St while driving a 2008 Chevrolet.

Cruz was issued a Notice to Appear and released with McHenry County Court date of 08-25-21 at 1330 hrs.

During the course of the traffic stop, a passenger in the vehicle, a Harvard Youth (m-13 yoa) was arrested for Resisting a Peace Officer and issued a Non-Traffic Notice to Appear for Curfew under City of Harvard Ordinance after he pulled away from police.

The Harvard Youth was released to a parent with court date of 08-11-21 at 1330 hrs for the curfew citation and
referred to McHenry County Court Services for the Resisting a Peace Officer charge.
