Gateway Pundit Pulls Out New Information about Prairie Grove Flag Ticket Controversy

Gateway Pundit, one of the leading conservative web sites, has picked up on Gianelli’s restaurant’s being ticketed twice with regard to the placement of American flags by the Village of Prairie Grove.

New information follows:

“[Terry] Trobiani says he has received massive support from patriots across the country who have been reaching out to him…

Even if he wanted to, The restaurant owner says he is unable to pay his ticket unless he signs a soviet-style letter admitting his guilt along with a subsequent letter promising that he will comply with every sign ordinance in the Village of Prairie Grove, forever. He plans to fight them in court “even if it costs more than paying the fine…”

Like the truly committed hypocrite he is, David Underwood, the  Democrat president of Prairie Grove’s Board, called Trobiani “disgraceful” for “using the flag as a tool to further his business interests.” In his weak excuse as to why the citations were issued, he said that the flags could have blown into the road.

  1. David Underwood – His name and likeness shall be remembered. Sieg Heil !

  2. Isn’t it about a sign ordinance?

When did a real American flag become a sign?

It was not a printed flag image, right?

    It was actual flags.

  3. David Underwood is a vapid dolt.

Do you wonder why our municipalities and states are being run into the ground by incompetence? David Underwood is a perfect example of why.

    What a loser.

I think it’s time for the village POLICE to stand up and do what’s right.

Stop writing citations and tell the village to shove it up their A…

This is ridiculous embarrassment to the police department.

Don’t have idiots like David Underwood for you to make a fool of the police and turn the police into an enemy of the people.

  4. Try driving around with an American flag hanging from your rear-view mirror.

When your “back the blue” guys pull you over, just tell them you’re a patriot. A PATRIOT.

If they still ticket you, call Fox news.

  5. Oh no it sure would be bad if the village goons got harassed by people from across the country oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that would be baaaaaaaaaad

what about muh civil behavior noooooooooooo you can’t just call and write emails swearing at the government nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo what about my police society nooooooooooooo you just have to let us ticket you for flags and you can’t be mean to us please bro. we’re the government we are the good guys we write tickets for flags but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo don’t have huge conservative media outlets write about it so we can get harassed by thousands of people across the country we didn’t do anything to deserve this nooooooooooo you can’t be mean to us noooooo

  6. Flag regulation is typically done via a sign ordinance.

Some people sometimes use flags in conjunction with signs.

If this had been a BLM or Pride flag, one would hope that the village’s response would be the same.

I don’t think the village is looking to ban US flag flying.

If these were put out for the 4th of July and taken down right afterwards I don’t think that would have been an issue either but it is my understanding that they were left up for a couple of weeks.

I think the problem here is that the parking lot extends all the way to the state ROW so, unless the owner wanted to give up parking spaces, he had to put them in the ROW where he could stick them into the bare ground.

Again, part of this business is a car wash so a US Flag bikini/Speedo car wash would be a good idea for him. He could even give away small flags and may be have a drawing for a big flag.

    Everybody wins.

  7. Underwood related to buckwheat by chance?

    both from the same p a r d y..

  8. In Germany when they cut the grass along state roads and the autobahn they vacuumed up the grass as it’s cut.

Reason behind the vacuum from passing vehicles creates a draw that can propel blades of grass that have been proven to kill motorcyclist.

Then laws in play here relate to safety, so keep your stuff out of the rows.

  9. Funny how the ordinance excludes the Village.

They are immune to their own laws, go figure.

Vote these ba$tards out and hire a real attorney to write or plagiarize your ordinances.

Why reinvent the wheel, copy Chicago’s ordinances and enact them here.

  10. A Soviet style letter admitting his guilt, the plea agreement his partner requested, more lies!

Trump often spoke of fake news and it was easy to see why he felt that way and agree with him at times.

Well I’m having real second thoughts about conservative news outlets letting this guy spew lies and get lots of people riled up.

He’s a liar and when it’s proven what a liar he is I hope karma bites him in the ass.

  11. Underwood owes me money from a football bet 15 years ago.

    W E L S H E R!

  12. The+Mrs, what lies is Gianellis’ telling?

And what are you talking about ‘his partner?”

It’s the village goons that want him to sign documents saying he was guilty and he will never violate another ordinance in the village again!

They are trying to entrap him!

The village wants him to sign these when he goes in to pay his tickets!

Sounds like the village is in real trouble and that was their solution to try and hog tie him.

Criminals don’t even sign such documents!
