UPDATE: Speeding Fox River Boater Dies in Holliday Hills Yard — 9 Comments

  1. no offense here..BUT..why would any idiot run a boat that Big on the Fox river?

    and run it that fast?

fast enough to end up against a tree in someones back yard….

  2. People run boats that size on the river all the time, they don’t run that fast – at least the responsible ones.

Have an old friend from college with a boat like that.

    It’s kept in Fox Lake.

Gone on lots of river cruises over the years – never fast.

Could have been a medical or mental health crisis.

Could have been a mechanical issue.

Or could be he was just an idiot.

  3. A witness posted he was leaning over, possibly because of a medical emergency.

I am his widow, and we have operated large boats on the Fox for over 20 years.

Please don’t sully the memory of a loving man who towed many boats in distress on our river over the years.

  4. Dianne thanks for NTSB, psychological and medical analyses.

Why don’t you start analyzing your own very serious disorders?
