Wilcox & McConchie Schedule Fundraiser Sept. 11th on Mike Rein’s Hilltop Estate Overlooking Fox River Valley

State Senators Craig Wilcox and Dan McConchie have a tradition of holding a low-cost ($30) fundraiser in a truly historic location almost on the McHenry-Lake County line.

A band provided music at a previous event.

It’s a place Indians used to gather and there are thought to be Indian burial mounds down the hill from the family home.

Possible burial mounds.

One can just envision the McHenry Conservation District lusting for ownership.

In any event, it is a laid back event that probably will have lobbyists showing up (or at least contributing) because of McConchie’s new position as top Republican Party State Senate Leader.

  1. Great Band in that photo, All Stars–play all over the County.

    Buddy on guitar.

Hopefully, eventually The McHenry County Conservation District should get that land, great site–get it before the Cary Park District does and makes a second Indoor Pool/Aquatic Center out of it.

  2. Cuckservative Fest! C’mon youall. BLM flag will be there for worship. Statuettes of Floyd available for purchase.

  3. All these Republican legislators allowed Democrats to meet in a locked room and draw their own political districts, and then they go back to their districts and tell us we just need to go out and vote or that maybe people in *other* districts need to go out and vote… They tell us we must figure out some political solution as the super majority party entrenches its power even more and sees to it that there will be even less political opposition/alternative…

Republicans are incompetent at best and controlled opposition at worst.

McConchie is crippled so he has some excuse, but isn’t Wilcox supposed to be some military badass? And he just watched Democrats rig it for the next ten years? Did Republicans bother to so much as knock on the door?

Why should I support these people who don’t fight for me? Why should I waste time or money on cuckservatives?

A pink haired college activist fights harder and is willing to sacrifice more for what they believe than Republican legislators in Illinois, including some who are military veterans. It’s sickening.

  4. Shrimp boil? Are McConchie and Wilcox the entrees?
