GOP and Democratic Party Presence in the Marengo Parade

Let’s start with the easy part.

There was no indication of the Democeatic Party in the Marengo Settlers Days Parade.

The Republicans had a multiplicity of entries, starting with Robb Tadelman’s.

Tadelman is one of two candidates for the Republican nomination for Sheriff, Tony Colatorti being the other.

The Robb Tadelman banner.
Robb Tadelman walked in the middle of the rain-soaked road.

The candidate spotted me and faced the camera.

Behind candidate Robb Tadelman came a mixture of kids and adults.

The banner for the McHenry County Republican Party came next.

Republican Party banner.

The GOP banner separated the two Sheriff’s candidates’ contingents.

Tony Colatorti’s banner.

Colaroti worked the crowd on my side of the street.

Tony Colatorti worked the crowd, hading out palm cards.
Colatorti also had a grop of children and parents following him.

The new Republican elephant rolled right behind.

Making its first appearance was this trumpeting elephant.

A trailer bedecked in signs came next.

Several partisans rode on the trailer.

On the back of the trailer was a big sign for McHenry County Board Chairman Mike Buehler, the man who defeated Marengo politician Jack Franks…even in Marengo.

The Republlicans drove past the old Downtoen stores.

A second elephant, this one a baloon blow-up, was present.

Tony Colatorti signs were on the side of the send elephant’s truck.

A vehicle with a big sign for McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio, the only Republican running for re-election on a countywide basis who made him or herself’s presence known drove by nexr.

Joe Tirio continues to promote his first campaign’s slogan: “I Won’t Hire My Wife.”

The only aspirant for the Reublican nomination for Governor with any presence in the Marengo Parade was Daren Bailey.

This man was walking on my side of the street handing out Daren Baily palm cards. He clearing saw me pointin my camera at him.
Daren Baily supporters walkikng in the rain.

An U.S. Navy turck carried signs supporting Baily’s candidacy.

The sign at the rear says, “Fire Pritzker, Hire Bailey.”

A car with Baioley signs was right behind.

Here are photos taken before the parade:

State Senator Dave Syverson, the Rockford-area legislator whom the Democrats re-districted deep into McHenry County (all the way to the Grafton-Algonquin Township line in southeaster Crystal Lake), but I’ll leave his entry and that of his promary opponent for another post.

It is probably worth noting that no incumbent County Board members or legislators appeared.

Those in both categories will no longer be representing Marengo after next year.

  1. If Tadelman was there, then the Democrats were well represented.

  2. Cal “points his camera” at a lot of people–if the same one, has the super zoom on it, cant miss it or him, membas when Sheriff Candidate Zinke gave you the Finger for pointing it at him.

Didnt serve him well after that it seemed.

  3. Idid not use a zoom lens in Marengo nor at the Crymstal Lake parade in question.

  4. I stand corrected. Zinke still gave you the Finger. Are you still using a 35mm or Smartphone Camera now?

  5. Word on the street is the Republican Party banner was between Tadelman and the Republican supporters because he refused to walk with the Republican Party.

First Tadelman celebrated the BLM Juneteenth Day, then the Mexican Independence Day, and now appears he didn’t want to be associated with the Republican Party… Colatorti has my vote.

  6. Some interesting conclusions could be drawn from the separation of the two Sheriff’s candidates.

The first would be does the Republican Banner being between the two candidates indicate that this race is dividing the party in two?

The second would be does the fact that the Tadelman registered his entry separate from the party indicate something even more sinister?

    Time will tell.

  7. Parades of celebration of something or other should be void of politicians and political candidates so that the affair is clean fun for kids and families and the grandparents.

  8. That pretty much describes the McHenry Fiesta Dayms Parade in McHenry this year.

  9. Tadelman is a trojan horse. He serves the dark forces and shares the views about us goyim like Franks and Pritzker and Merrick Garland, and of course the terrible Red Commissar Mayorkas.

If there is one thing that all Americans should feel pleased with the Republican Party performance it is the fact that the then Republican-dominated Senate was able to block President Barack Obama’s patheric bid to place the hideous Merrick Garland on the Supreme Court.

The downside of that is, of course, that he now is Joe Biden’s Attorney General, where he is very well placed to engage in sabotage that will harm all Americans.

Garland is far, far more malevolent and diabolical than the rather low IQ Eric Holder and Loretta Lynche (of fast and furious and Billy Clinton tarmac fixing scandals, respectively).

In fact, he has proven to be a more than willing accomplice in the social engineering that the Biden Administration is engaged in, to include his declaration of war against white supremacists as the single greatest terrorist threat the United States faces today.

Can you believe he proclaimed that? https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/05/ag-merrick-garland-says-white-supremacists-the-most-dangerous-threat-to-our-democracy/

What about Red Chinese and Russian nukes and bioweapons? What about the corrupt Federal Reserve Crime Syndicate? What about millions of cultural and diseased aliens pouring into the country? What about the $5 a gallon gas prices we’ll have in 6 mos? What about Zuckerberg & Co’s censorship and deplatforming? What about all the Soros financed prosecutors like lame brain Foxx in Chi-Congo? What about expressway shootings across the nation?

One might well recall Taki Theodoracopulos’s recent comment that if America somehow survives in its current form, years from now people will wonder how society was enslaved by a tiny minority of privileged, virulently anti-Christian people who would surrender and give up their mother at the first sign of an attack.

That defines Garland and those around him, but he is generally regarded by the lying media and those who care about such things, as a ‘moderate.’ What rancid propaganda!

Garland’s enemies list admittedly features white supremacists regarded ipso facto as extremists, but it now also includes parents who do not support “critical race theory” (CRT) in the nation’s public schools; physicians, soldiers and sailors who refuse the vax; the white and hispanic citizens of the southern borderlands who don’t appreciate the Mexican narcostate and crime chaos descending on their communities; the white Cubans, and their descendants who fled Castro’s prison island and know a thing about the Garland type; angry oil workers in ND, now unemployed; various county sheriffs who can’t be counted on to enforce the coming Australianlike national firearm confiscation tyranny (unlike our dear Tadelman)

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has observed how “The Department of Justice’s fight against angry parents is a real testament to the authoritarian nature of the Biden administration and indeed, the entirety of the left. It takes a lot of hubris to declare that you know how to raise someone’s child better than them and send authorities to shut you down when you protest that.”

To be sure, Critical Race Theory has been fairly criticized as it pretends to be an antidote to systemic racism but is itself racist in nature as it opposes a race neutral system that equally benefits everyone. It proposes that America’s governmental bodies and infrastructures are racist and supportive of “white supremacy” and must be deconstructed. It requires everything to be examined through a value system determined by identity politics and race and it views both whites and their institutions as hopelessly corrupted, if not evil. This is what will be taught to children and this is why parents are protesting.

One has to wonder if a “moderate” jurist would support using the nation’s law enforcement resources to come down on hard on people, most of whom are committing something that can only be termed as thought crimes.

The mainstream media has little to say on the issue, most probably because Garland is a protected species called “Jewish” and he is also serving a liberal Democratic Administration.

One notes in particular that Garland has said absolutely nothing about intensifying FBI efforts to identify, arrest, prosecute and confine the black lives matter and Antifa punks who rioted, burned and looted last summer, causing billions of dollars-worth of damage, and beating and even killing those who resisted.

Could it be because they are part of the Democratic Party coalition?

    No I can’t support a Tadelman.

    Don’t be fooled, again.

  10. I find it gross that so many candidates (Bailey, Rabine, Colatorti, and Tadelman) have signs out like 8 months before the primary and months before we’re even allowed to circulate petitions.

Can’t we ever get a break from these politicians self-promoting and their rabid fans?

Also, take your goofy blue lives matter and black lives matter and “we believe love is love” cancel the ICE contract and all these other gay signs down.

You all look like clowns. You don’t have to express your political opinion to everybody in the neighborhood 24/7 all year round, you autistic little pissbrains. If someone throws a rock at these people’s houses I’m going to make like the blacks and say “I didn’t see nothing.”

Don’t you have any kind of identity, any purpose, any associations, any aspirations, any hobbies, any joy in life other than your silly political affiliations? Even sportsball fans getting drunk and screaming on the weekends aren’t annoying as these political losers.

  11. Obviously Correcting is clueless as to what it looks like before a violent civil war.

Get your ammo Correcting, before you can’t.
