  1. I remember that vote.

Of the 2 Board Members “absent” on the roll call, Don Brewer conveniently walked out of the Board room before the roll was taken.

Brewer was a freshman Board Member (but not a freshman elected official, as he had served one term as Algonquin village president 1989-1993) that year, and he was under pressure to support the tax increase.

So, he walked out when it was time to take the vote.

  2. There’s the tax pig John “Dung” Jung who is still tormenting us.

  3. Erv Staveteig was the Grand Poobah Freemason of McHenry County for many years.

After he expired, Mark Justen took his place.

    Who’s the Grand Master now?

  4. Pat Dustheimer

    Average pizzas

    Taxholery villain.

    Is she still alive?

  5. Ole Dusty is in AZ last time I heard.

John Colomer should be in prison for his scams.
