Could Pam Althoff Be the Decided Vote on Gay Marriage?

February 13, 2013 By: Cal Skinner Category: Crystal Lake Tea Party, Gay Marriage, Mary Alger, Pam Althoff

State Senate President John Cullerton has scheduled a vote on gay marriage tomorrow–Valentine’s Day.

On her Crystal Lake Tea Party email, Mary Alger writes about that vote.

“We met with Senator Pam Althoff in Woodstock yesterday and she still doesn’t know how she’ll vote on same sex marriage!

“Relevant Radio is saying she is a key vote for its passage.

“Please let her know she is being used to achieve their goal of peeling off the weak votes by inviting them into the process only to discard what she believes she achieves.

“It is CRUCIAL that you call her office NOW and tell her to vote NO on any and all same sex marriage bills! God is giving us this opportunity to defend our culture as it was created and enshrined in our Constitution.

“God has ordered nature in His supreme wisdom. This bill serves to create disorder and chaos which is exactly what the evil one seeks.

Tea Party Booth at the McHenry County Fair

July 27, 2012 By: Cal Skinner Category: Bill Broderick, Crystal Lake Tea Party, Diane Evertsen, Huntley Area TEA Party, Mary Alger, McHenry County Fair

Seen in Downtown Ringwood.

Look what the Crystal Lake Tea Party just sent out:

In the spirit of American Patriots, the Crystal Lake Tea Party and Huntley Area Tea Party are collaborating to share resources and staff a booth at the McHenry County Fair.

With November (and October early voting) elections fast approaching, all of us are looking at various ways in order to educate our voters and promote our Tea Party values.

The Fair runs from Wednesday, August 1st, through Sunday, August 5th, and will require booth staffing from 10 am to 10 pm each of those days, except for the early close on Sunday.

If you’ve never had the experience of meeting neighbors and friends at this type of venue, let us assure you that it is a TON of fun!

People who attend the Fair are in a happy mood to begin with, so half your work is already done!

We’d love to make sure that we’re able to accommodate all volunteers with a two-hour time slot of their first choice, so please get back to me ASAP so we can reserve your time.

If you’d like to bring a personal friend with you to help keep you company, just let us know.

Our Tea Party people always work on the premise of the more, the merrier!

Thanks! We’re looking forward to hearing your choice of times!

Are Ballots Counted Honestly?

June 15, 2011 By: Cal Skinner Category: Ballot, Ballots, Chicago, Crystal Lake Tea Party, Ev Evertsen, Integrity, Mary Alger, Sharon Meroni, Steve Bolton, Vote, Vote Fraud, Voting, Voting Machines

Sharon Meroni of Defend the Vote addresses Crystal Lake Tea Party members.

Without ballot integrity, democracy disappears.

If you can’t be sure your vote is being counted correctly and only votes of others voting legally are being counted as well, what trust would you have in the governmental system?

The Crystal Lake Tea Party met last night at the Park District’s Park Place to hear the findings of those who have investigated the situation. Below is Tea Party leader Mary Alger’s report on what happened:

“Citizens gathered at Park Place in Crystal Lake, IL and were completely drawn in by 3 speakers that presented the problems we face in election integrity and were given a solid citizen action and legal plan to fix it.

“Sharon Meroni of www.defendthevote.com tracked election processes & procedures in the City of Chicago which took her on an odyssey of adventures and discovered jaw dropping revelations.

Chicago Republican Election Attorney Steve Bolton speaks about ballot integrity problems of early voting.

“Unsecured ballots, illegal election workers, and problems with the voting machines were but a few of the problems found.

“Potentially the biggest problem is that there is virtually no auditing of early voting although Illinois law says that 5% of all votes must be audited.

“Based on many of these findings, Chicago GOP Election attorney, Steve
Boulton, spoke of his bringing several legal actions to the Chicago Board of
Elections to seek remedy.

“His letter can be found here.

“Evert Evertsen, a naturalized US citizen since 1984, knows how precious the
right to vote in this country is and has been protecting the process for
seven years by being an election judge and training poll watchers.

“These 3 speakers compelled all citizens to get involved in securing the
voting process. Sign up sheets were filled out that will allow citizens to
become highly trained and effective poll watchers, election judges, learn to
use the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to seek election information and
to clean up the voter registration rolls.

“These actions will become a new focus of TEA Parties throughout the country and with www.illinoistea.org affiliated TEA Parties in our state.

“Simply put, without the sanctity and assurance of our vote being counted we lose our Republic.

One of the missions of the TEA Party is taking citizen action from the street corner and bringing it to the polling place.

“We will start in Illinois of all places to show the nation that it CAN be done starting HERE, starting NOW.”

Why: A non-partisan audit of voting precincts during the April 5th, 2011 election in Chicago revealed issues of non compliant ballot security procedures to be documented at an astounding 90%. Real vulnerabilities in securing the equipment and ballots were revealed and documented. With passion and commitment from the citizenry this program can become a national campaign leading up to the 2012 election and beyond.

Crystal Lake Tea Party Leader Mary Alger to Be on Laura Ingraham Radio Show Wednesday

March 01, 2011 By: Cal Skinner Category: Crystal Lake Tea Party, Laura Ingraham, Mary Alger, TEA Party

Mary Alger poses in front of Harvard's Heritage Inn while at least eight Wisconsin State Senators gather inside. Her sign says, "IL Tea Party Finds Wisconsin 'Flee Party.'"

Mary Alger, the spark plug of the Crystal Lake Tea Party and one of the people that Patriots United counts on to do whatever needs to be done, will be interviewed on Laura Ingraham’s radio show tomorrow about 11:35.

Mary Alger stands by Crystal Lake Tea Party tent at the April 15, 2010, Route 14 demonstration.

The only local station that I could find that carries the program is WRMN-AM in Elgin. It’s 1410 on the dial, but the closer one gets to the Wisconsin border, the harder it is to receive.

Illinois Patriots Plan Invasion of Madison to Counter Union Demonstrators

February 18, 2011 By: Cal Skinner Category: Crystal Lake Tea Party, Gabrielle Giffords, Rockford, Rockford Tea Party, Union, Wisconsin

Rockford Tea Party camerman follows the arrow to interview two Wisconsin State Senators leaving the Clock Tower Inn to return to Madison yesterday afternoon.

The Chicago Tea Party email says, “Patriots are gathering together tomorrow in Madison, Wisconsin to counter protest the riots led by Organizing for America.

“While the Wisconsin led Republican house and governor tries to put their fiscal crisis to bed, unions are rioting and democratic leaders are on the lamb.

“There will be a counter-protest tomorrow at Wisconsin’s state capital, from Noon - 3 p.m.”

Crystal Lake Tea Party’s Mary Alger emails,

“I have inquired about a bus round trip to Madison tomorrow….cost $25 round trip….cash only payable when boarding. Need 56 people to fill the bus otherwise cost will increase….email mills24@sbcglobal.net, to make reservations. Must know by 4P today to secure bus.

“Go, if you can.”

A couple of Democrats were sighted by the Rockford Tea Party cameraman at the Clock Tower Inn Thursday afternoon.

The rhetoric being used by the union members and supporters is harsh, even though liberals were advocating civility a couple of weeks ago when Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot.
