Hobby Lobby’s Easter Ad Promotes “The Bible” Mini-Series
Oklahoma City-based Hobby Lobby’s annual Easter ad in newspapers promotes a 10-hour mini-series entitled, “The Bible,” as you can see below:
Message of the Day – A Valentine
This is a Valentine from God taken from John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. Found in the First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake in 2009.
Message of the Day – A Cap
While I was waiting for the Marengo Settlers Days Parade I spotted the cap you see below:

This hat with a cross was waiting for the 2012 Marengo Settlers Days Parade.
Message of the Day – A License Plate
This was found at the Grand Opening of the Crystal Lake Chick-fil-A.
There were other manifestations of Christians on opening day.
I saw a First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake CROP Walk tee shirt.

A contingent from the Spring Grove Bible Fellowship led by Pastor Scott Barrettsmith and his wife Julie and several members ate at Chick-fil-A at mid-afternoon. To the pastor’s left is Nancy Cole, a McHenry County Pro-Life leader.
Chick-fil-A is closed Sundays, as are Hobby Lobby and car dealers.
Message of the Day – A Billboard
Look what we found on the way South this summer:

This sign was the Interstate in Georgia this summer. It has a representation of the Crucifixion, plus the words of John 3:16.
Sponsored by Eternal Life Assured, the billboard is one of those plastic wrappings, instead of paper.
I wonder if the group got a special rate because the outdoor advertising firm had not been able to rent it out.
I also wonder why there are not billboards like this in the Chicago area.
No rich Christians?
Message of the Day – A Shirt
Maybe it’s a long sleeved tee shirt.
It’s Mother’s Day and you know your mother loves you.
Jesus loves you more, though.
When the young woman wearing this message walk into Crandall’s Restaurant in Hebron, I immediately knew I had to ask to take a photo.
As you can see, she gave permission.
Message of the Day – A License Plate and a Bumper Sticker
When I took this photo, I thought I had a two-fer.
But, upon examination, I see there are three messages on the back of this yellow Neon.
The bumper sticker caught my attention first.
It says, “Jesus – Don’t Leave Earth Without Him.”
The license plate reads, “JC SOON1.”
And in the middle of the trunk is the outline of a fish, a symbol of Christianity.
