From the Kane County Democratic Party Facebook page:

“Awake Illinois 10th” posted”

“Chief “legal counsel for Algonquin D300 announced tonight that Nancy Zettler has been removed from her role as board President but she will remain on the board.

“Nancy said to the public ‘Don’t come after [others] because I’ll be the first one that’s gonna come after you if you do.’”

🙄

Zettler avoided a censure, an action which pretty much means nothing.

But the former Democratic Party candidate for State Representative and State Senator lost the most important post on the District 300 School Board on a 5-1 vote.

The controversy started with Zettler’s having characterized the assassination of Charlie Kirk as “karma.”

That led to a demonstration in front of the District 300 office building, which moved to Randall Road for much more visibility.

Zettler led the effort of Democrats to gain control of the school board.

Zettler entered the political scene with her management of successful referendums to raise the D300 tax rate and to issue bonds.
