  1. Cal,

It is interesting that you noticed that Brett Hopkins added his endorsement to the NWHerald to his large campaign signs. His large sign on Main Street was stolen today (snipped off at the base of the wire stands)…Brett and Aaron had permission from the property owner to display signs but apparently, numerous other campaigners did not and received calls to remove their signs. We also noticed that John Burton has randomly placed signs around town…we ended up with one on our lawn and he never contacted us. We thought this was a rule?

  2. The incumbents in the D-46 school board races continually accused other candidates of conspiring with people those candidates didn’t know and/or have no personal or working relationship with, and wouldn’t conspire with if they did.

And they also accused other candidates of plans for the district that only they know about and that therefore must be their own, including somehow managing a truck depot on 46’s recent against-66%-NO-referendum-votes and backdoor purchase of land at Hacker farm, something about a grade school somewhere other than where the grade school already is, and some bizarre thing about route 176.

    Sheesh. Talk about wiggy!

And to those folks…by the way,
you are the ones who select the youngest children’s classrooms to be nearest the road that you’re so het up about. And I guess that, too, is “FOR THE CHILDREN”.
