Word from the inside of McHenry County College is that McHenry County College is ramping up its campaign to pressure the Crystal Lake city council to approve its baseball stadium proposal.

At each council and zoning commission meeting, college employees have arrived early and generally sat up front. Undoubtedly they will do that again on October 17th when final approval is desired by Mayor Aaron Shepley.

Now staff members are being requested to write letters of support.

My guess is that they will not include where their paycheck comes from.
