McHenry County Blog has been given some pictures of stuff that remained on the property that McHenry County government vowed to clean up.

Residents of Crystal Lake’s Covered Bridge Trails subdivision put lots of pressure on county officials before a $22,000 contract was let to Elgin’s Omega Demolition.

Omega was not the low bidder.

The low bid was $1 from one of veterans’ advocate John Blanchard’s legal entities. He figured he could salvage enough stuff on Paul Iverson’s property between Covered Bridge Trails and what Crystal Lakers call the McHenry Blacktop to give veterans a job on the way to more stable employment.

But, the professionals got the job.

Thursday, McHenry County Blog ran a picture of batteries that Omega seems to have missed in its clean up operation. Friday, it was one of a car and a boat.

Today, there is a picture of a boat. Is it the same one in yesterday’s photo of a car and a boat?
