Ken Arnold Release White Papers on Energy and Its Transportation Over Railroad Rights-of-Way

Ken Arnold, one of three 8th congressional district candidates for the GOP nomination to congress to oppose incumbent Democrat Melissa Bean, has releaseD white papers on energy and its transportation.

In an accompanying email he wrote:

“Attached is my campaign’s press release on two original and creative initiatives to help secure our national energy security, help our environment, and drive our economy to greater heights.

“These two ‘white paper solutions’ are

  • The Energy and Production Reservation Act (EPRA) and
  • The Railroad Right-of-Way Act.

Both initiatives are inter-related to one another.

“The first establishes EPRA reservations for the production of energy and petrochemical products within any willing Indian Nations within the U.S., while the second initiative would, in part, aid in the transportation of such product to the many parts of our country.

“Candidate Ken Arnold is proud to bring these initiatives forward for public discussion and his committed action once elected their Congressman.

“And these two initiatives now form a dozen original, creative, and effective solutions I have so far outlined within the campaign.

“In light of the public demanding that so many of our problems now finally be addressed, you in the media should help echo the demands of the public in insisting that candidates for all Federal offices demonstrate in detail their precise remedies to our numerous problems.

“They cannot say, ‘trust me,’ or vaguely say, ‘I have a plan.’

“Or, like opponent Steve Greenberg, say he will reduce Federal spending and fail to tell citizens HOW. They must produce such original ideas now to assure the public that they can add value to the problem solving efforts so very much needed in Washington on so many fronts!

“So far, both of my Republican opponents have done little in this area. And from a public service standpoint I call upon them to finally start producing!

“We voters all know that incumbent Bean has done nothing in her now two terms in office along these lines of major and original initiatives – that’s a big reason why I’m running.

“But my Republican opponents in the Primary must also prove that they aren’t vague and unimaginative politicians either.

“And I implore them – for both our Party’s and public’s sake – to start ‘showing what they got’ in their personal skill set at solving the peoples’ problems with creativity, originality, and intelligence!

“Sadly, I’m still waiting…”
