I found this tee shirt at the Farm Bureau Building in Woodstock last night.
It says,

DEMOCRAT

DEMOCRAT
It was being worn by a Democratic Party precinct committeeman who challenged me to run for precinct committeeman and reminded me of it. (I also had a Republican precinct committeeman urge me to run, just for the record.)
There were over 50 Democrats in attendance with McHenry County Democratic Central Committee Chairman Thomas Cynor at the head of the room. Here’s how he started the meeting:
“This is the year!
“This is our year!
“I’m the chief trouble maker in McHenry County!”
Clearly, he is proud of that label.
