A fact finding mission, that is.

I’m not sure she is telling her constituents, but 8th district Congresswoman Melissa Bean is off to Columbia and I don’t mean the capital of South Carolina, a state where she was recently campaigning for Barack Obama. We’re talking Medellin.

She’s flying to South America with an all-Democratic Party delegation, compliments of the State Department. And, they’ll be talking trade, a free trade agreement. Can’t wait for the report.

That must mean she is totally unconcerned with her Democratic Party primary opponent Randi Scheurer.
Guess the polls are good for her.

Hard to campaign in Illinois from that far away.

I wonder if she will be visiting a coffee bean plantation. If so, I’d surely like a photo.
