Six Vote Lead in District 1; Could Absentees Could Make a Difference?

When I went to bed at 2 AM last night, newcomer Bob Bless was leading former Fox River Grove village president Bill Yocius by 36 votes.

Now, after early votes have been folded into the mix, Yocius has moved to within six votes of tying Bless.

Marc Munaretto is 107 votes ahead of Bless.

Early voting and not counting absentee ballots at the polling place has added a new dynamic to the process of tallying votes.

Any absentee ballot which contains a postmark of February 5th will be counted.

Are there enough to lift Yocius into a tie or a victory?

If there is a recount, at least Bless won’t have to hire an attorney.

He is one.
