Message of the Day – Potential Power

And not hydroelectric.

On Route 51 between Bloomington and Decatur this is what my wife and I saw on the way to the Illinois Republican Convention.

She thought they might be pontoons for boats. They were submerged.

At the convention, a friend told us they were parts of windmills.

Another friend with relatives just north of the area in Heyworth told us the old Thrall plant had been converted to assembly wind mills…really big ones.

What we see above are wind mill blades, I think.

Do you think that is a correct?

The assembled and operating windmills above are west of Interstate 39 near Paw Paw.
