Bye-Bye Blago

My son never liked Teletubbies so I can’t tell you who the yellow one is.

But I know he’s waving good-bye.

Just like Governor Rod Blagojevich should be.

The Illinois House mustered 114 to vote for impeachment.

One, Rep. Milt Patterson (D-Chicago), voted, “No.”

Rep. Edna Jeffries (D-Chicago) voted “Present.”

Rep. Kenneth Dunkin (D-Chicago) was “excused,” whatever that means.

Here’s the roll call:

Blagojevich was jogging during the debate. I did something more useful. I shoveled our driveway, discovering that a rolling garbage container works well and uses different muscles than a shovel. It’s also harder to slip on the ice and fall than using a shovel.

But this afternoon he’s going to hold a press conference.
