First Carousel Horse Arrives in Woodstock

Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program Development Director Ann Henslee and Woodstock Chamber of Commerce chief Quinn Keefe pose next to the first white horse to arrive in Woodstock.

The goal of the Richmond-based Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program is to have painted horses around the Woodstock Square this summer.

Sponsors for the fundraiser and artists are being sought. The artists will be paid $1,000. Other details can be found here.

After the summer, the horses will be re-furbished, if necessary, and sold.
