Ray LaHood Tucks $90,000 Bandstand Renovation in Congressional Budget

There is pork all over the budget that just passed in Washington.

One of the stranger aspects is that retired legislators are getting credit for earmarks. The one from Illinois who shows up most is Peoria’s Ray LaHood, now President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Transportation.

In the Architect of the Capitol’s budget is the following:

Renovation of the Jacksonville Bandstand – $95,000

It’s contained in the in the House Office Building account.
