State Senator Pam Althoff caught up with her email Monday and answered my question as to whether she referred to a one percentage point increase as a one percent income tax hike in her telephone town meeting.

Well, no.

And she didn’t refer to a two percentage point income tax hike as a two percent increase.

“Yes (I) did explain (a two percentage point hike) was (a) 66% increase.”

There was more, but that answers my question.
