Message of the Day – Cheering

Last Saturday was such a better day than today for the Chicago Junior Rowing Championships.

Today, the weather is like it was in 2007, when just lining up for the beginning of the race was a challenge.

Held on Crystal Lake, most spectators were on the Main Beach facing the end of the race.

From a spectators’ point of view, it doesn’t strike me as idea.

But, as you can see from these cheering folks, the view did not dampen their enthusiasm.

Above you see some of the boats in the race where the girls were offering their encouragement.
