Grafton Township Case Postponed Until May 10th

Grafton Township Trustees got their way in court today when Judge Michael Caldwell continued Supervisor Linda Moore’s separation of powers case from the day of the Annual Town Meeting—next Tuesday—until May 10th.

Sitting to the right of Trustee Gerry McMahon (back facing audience) are fellow Trustees Betty Zirk, Rob LaPorta and Barb Murphy. At the head table, left to right, are Township Attorney Keri-Lyn Krafthefer and Township Supervisor Linda Moore. Taking future pictures like this was forbidden by the four Trustees at the April 8, 2010, meeting. They ordered all photographers to sit in or stand behind the back row of chairs when they take photographs. The same rules apply to those audio or video recording future meetings.

The Ancel Glink attorney argued more time was needed to take depositions, even though at the last questioning of Moore the firm failed to have a court reporter present to record the inquiries and answers.
