Mark Kirk To Be in Lake in the Hills Parade Saturday

Mark Kirk walked Crystal Lake's Independence Day Parade. You see his McHenry County Coordinator Cheryl Meyer under his raised arm.

Cheryl Meyer, McHenry County Coordinator for Kirk for U.S. Senate, sent the following email seeking Saturday volunteers to march with Kirk at Saturday’s Lake in the Hill’s parade.

I’m reaching out to you as precinct committeemen/women with hopes that you can come out this Saturday morning (Sept. 4) and walk with U.S. Senate Candidate Mark Kirk in the Lake In The Hills Summer Sunset Parade. This parade starts at 10am and the route is fairly short.

We will need you there by 9:30 at the absolute latest (9am would be better…), and lineup is on Foxfield Lane off of Miller Road. If you park at Sunset Park (on Miller just west of Lakewood Road), a shuttle can take you to the line up area. That way when the parade finishes, you’re right by your car.

If you don’t have a Kirk shirt we can supply you with one when you arrive.

As you all know, Republican momentum is building and Mark Kirk needs a very solid win in McHenry County.

Please come out on Saturday and walk with Mark and show everyone that Alexi Giannoulias’ days (Mark’s opponent) as a financial “mis-manager” are numbered! You should be done by 11am.

Please let me know if you can walk.

Of course, if I am there, I’ll be taking photos, but others who are not precinct committeemen might be interested. Kirk had the largest group of walkers at Crystal Lake’s 4th of July Parade.

  1. Mark Kirk is a pathological liar; he his bad for Illinois and Bad for America. I am a true conservative, but will never support Kirk.

Our conservative group of 26 adults (50+ y/o) will be out to protest Kirk; signs and all. Mr. Kirk is a fraud.

  2. The ultra-conservatives who think its a good idea to work against the Republican candidate may as well be carrying “I hope Alexi wins” signs. They will get what they deserve when Alexi- the rubber stamp for the O’bama-Pelosi-Reid agenda makes his way to Washington.

  3. I’m as ardent a conservative as you’ll find, and I think Sharon is absolutely correct. A non-vote or a protest vote for a third party candidate with no chance of winning, is equivalent to voting for Giannoulious, and by extension, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

I’d bet “TG Mcgee” is what Rush would refer to as a “seminar blogger”. Beware liberals in conservative clothing.

  4. We failed to get a strong conservative elected in the primary- plain and simple. Vote for Kirk, even if you have to hold your nose while doing so, and if he governs to the left of where we like, we send him packing in the next primary. Don’t throw away the chance to get the Republican party back in control of congress just because Kirk isn’t going to be Illinois’ version of Jim DeMint.
