Joe Walsh Campaign Issues Update

I thought some readers might find weekly updates from various candidates of interest. They can be like reading tea leaves by what they say, what they don’t say, what they hint at, etc.

Here is Joe Walsh’s:

Dear Friends,

You continue to amaze me! Another whirlwind weekend and YOU were there once again! WOW! Thanks to the Schaumburg Township Republicans who hosted our Schaumburg Blitz and to the Great Awakening who came once again to help spread the word. Incredible heat, rain; CarolAnn and our GA friends are always there to lend a hand.

Thanks also to all who came to Johnsburg for the final parade of the season. What a perfect day! Special thanks to Sheila Reiland who really has not felt well lately…she was there.

To all of you who went to 911, 912, Tea Party and GOP events with Joe this weekend, Thank you, thank you, thank you. And to our Palatine Township Coordinator Marshall Sutton and his lovely wife BeBe who hosted a meet and greet in their home in Auburn Woods, our thanks. Joe has many new supporters because you graciously opened your home. Though time is short, should any of you still wish to have a meet and greet to introduce Joe to your neighbors; please let me know. I will do my best to make it happen.

Seven weeks to Election Day.

Are we ahead? Yes, but we have to do a tremendous amount of work to reach our goal. Joe counts on you to help bring victory home November 2nd. We are almost there!

The Illinois GOP is conducting a challenge this week with 5 of the Congressional Races to see who can make the most calls by Thursday evening. To win this challenge we are going to need to make 2250 calls each day!!!!! We can do this if everyone helps a little bit. We will be open in Grayslake from 10am to 9pm. Whatever time you can give will help. Bring some friends or spend lunch time with us. Inch by inch as the saying goes.

For those of you, who are unable to come to the office, please consider calling from home. Bob Bednar, our Lake County Coordinator, is running the show…call the office at 847-752-8155 and make an appointment. Since we have a limited number of User ID’s available, it would help if we knew what works for you, we do not want to waste anyone’s time. Phone banking will continue to November 2nd. We really need you to continue to support Joe by making calls.

Precinct walking will continue non-stop as well.

As of today, Palatine Township is the target for next Saturday, Please mark your calendars. I will get you the particulars soon. Requests for walk sheets can be made at any time. Call CJ at the office before 4pm and she will pass your request to the appropriate “Helper of the Day.” Would you consider being the “Helper of the Day”? Give me a shout, I will hook you up! We will have many last minute jobs to do these next seven weeks. Have some free time? We can use the help. If you see something that needs attention, please let me know, I will address it immediately.

You are amazing! What a wonderful summer it has been getting to know you all. I have never worked with more passionate people. We are close, let’s take our country back.

At your service,

Marianne Bailey
