The Sheriff’s campaign supporters (both GOP and Dem) are weighing in on the press release from Democrat Mike Mahon outlining how he would cut $1 million in Keith Nygren’s departmental budget:

The comments even bleed over into the race for the 22nd Judicial Circuit Judge between Associate Judge Gordon Graham, running on the Republican ticket, and Independent Sally Wiggins.
Some people even use their own names.
So far no one has commented on who might replace Graham as associate judge, if he wins the full Circuit Judgeship.
Word out is that if Graham wins, his choice would be Don Franz. Don is working for Graham’s campaign.Then 2nd runner up would be Mary Nader. I think Mary would be a good choice.
33 comments, well 36 now. It would be interesting to see how many of those IPs are from the same person using different log in information. Or even more interesting would be knowing how many of those IPs come from sheriff’s office computers.
When you are paying people to post on your behalf, it is amazing how many supporters you can buy. On tax-payers money of course.
Since ALL the Circuit Court Judges vote on who would replace Judge Graham when he wins the job, he would be ONE vote out of seven or eight (whowever many circuit judges we have.)
Both Mary Nader and Don Franz would be good choices-there are several other good lawyers who would be great judges, but they wouldn’t want the pay cut.
