John O’Neill Works Marengo Parade Route

Marengo’s Settlers Days parade was last Sunday.

I was out working my Algonquin Township Precinct 7.  Knocking on doors and talking to people who were home.

The John O'Neill contingent was most tightly packed at the beginning of the parade.

But State Rep. Jack Frank’s opponent was working Franks’ hometown parade route.

Not only were there people for O'Neill, but there was one dog.

As you may remember, I have asked candidates to submit photos showing what they are doing.

Th e O'Neill volunteers spread out on Route 23.

O’Neill’s campaign sent me the ones you see here.

Along the way, John O'Neill introduced himself to Marengo-area voters.

On the street leading to the high school, people were sitting in the shade.

Smart parade watchers were in the shade.

Here’s the last photo O’Neill’s people sent. The parade ends at the high school parking lot.
