An Island Lake immigrant Air Force Reserve Veteran name Joe Ptak started the trend in the 8th District Congressional.
Now saying the Pledge of Allegiance at candidate forums of the League of Women Voters is spreading beyond Lake County and McHenry County.
News coming out of Pittsburgh says another League moderator told an audience that they were not going to say the Pledge and the audience overruled the chair, just at it did in Grayslake.
It’s refreshing to see active patriotism coming back when we all ( DEM’S & REP’S ) need it!!!!
