Melissa Bean

That’s what Gapers Block reports:

Earlier today the U.S. House of Representatives voted on whether to bring the Bush tax cuts up for debate.

The ending tally was 213 in favor, 203 against. Thirty Democrats voted against and of those 30 three are from Illinois (Melissa Bean, Jerry Costello, and Dan Lipinski).

  1. Another good reason many of us came to our senses and rid our State of her “services”.

  2. It’s ridiculous to have votes from people who will soon no longer be in office.

All of this could have beeb voted on PRIOR to the election. The officials would have been elected or out based on their decisions instead of holding everyone hostage.

  3. I hope Mellissa keeps voting for everythimg and anything that casuses problems to McHenry and Lake counties, You voted out an intellegent hard working representitive who care’s for her district. You voted in a complete moroon to take her place. You get what you deserve Mchenry. Pay your taxes at a much higher rate you either don’t understand what’s going on in Washington or you make more than $250,000.00 a year. Either way no one outside of McHenry or lake county care about your tax problems. If you have a complaint call your your other asswart, Nygren and complain to him. After all you were the only county NOT to vote for change. Remember Walsh only recieved 55% of the vote in the county he rented in.

  4. I would point out that “complete morons” don’t get into the University of Chicago.

  5. Glad to get rid of Bean..her voting shows her party loyalty.
Her nose is up Obama, Pelosi & Reid’s rear.
Obama care….her vote took it over the top..now it’s a train wreck law…
That’s why she got voted out…

By the way closest complete moran will probably be the next mayor of Chicago…far from MHenry Co
    Aren’t they lucky.

  6. I disagree Cal George Bush got into Harvard. Getting admitted to a school isn’t always what you know but who you know. After being involved with and covering politics as along and as well as you do I’m suprised at your comment.

  7. Did George Bush go to grad school at Harvard?

Walsh attended grad school at the University of Chicago. I’m not aware it’s easy to get in.

  8. there’s this thing called the Harvard Business School @ Harvard University, which is a graduate business type school where you can get there a thing called a MBA, you can get one purchased for you if you are a complete moron but know peoples

  9. Cal, Walsh is a republican hero of yours there is no way I’m gonna win this one its your blog. As much as you are a republican I am a Democrat. As much as you think the Democrats have screwed up this country I believe the Republicans have done more to put this country in the position it’s in now.

The biggest true difference between our Philosophies is ( and I may have misunderstood you) I think politicians from both parties are out for themselves and really don’t care about the people. If it will get them reelected they will do or say it. This country will never be what it was and for those who are not babyboomers or older. My God Have Mercy On Them

    Respectfully Patrick
