Woodstock’s Marigold Massage Parlor in Play Again

Woodstock’s Marigold Massage parlor.

A message from a friend of McHenry County Blog:

“Last night (02/23/11) I parked in front of Marigold Massage in Woodstock to get coffee next door.

“As I pulled up there were multiple investigators and policeman inside talking to two of the women in there, shortly after the owner entered.

“When I came out of dunkin donuts both of the women were being escorted out in handcuffs, yet the owner was free to leave.

“I am in this plaza often due to coffee runs and I have never once seen a woman or young man enter the parlor.

“They run their hours well after the closing sign states and I’ve heard snidbits every now and then about this chain of massage parlors.

“Most of it I brushed off as gossip.

“But what astonishes me is that these women are being punished and the owner is free to continue his filthy career of misusing the women and treating them as if they were expendable.”

Here is the article about other recent massage parlor prostitution raids in McHenry County.

  1. The Writer states;

“But what astonishes me is that these women are being punished and the owner is free to continue his filthy career of misusing the women and treating them as if they were expendable.”

Let’s hope the ‘owner’ is not as ‘free’ as it appears. Could well be he/she is left to show the appearance of ‘liberty’ when in fact, he or she may have already been ‘quietly’ arrested then placed in a ‘sting’ position.

Basically stated, left to ‘set up’ others for a larger ’roundup.’ Then, when the operation is completed, the ‘owner’ is punished with a sentence reduction as reward for cooperation.

But to your point, excellent statement. Truly sad, however kind of like the marijuana issue. People are going to solicit sex and purchase sex and drugs no matter what.

Let me be further clear about the male vs female ownership issues on Prostitution. Don’t be so quick to believe women do not enslave women just as much men do.

I have seen vicious female owners of the sex trade.

If we legalize, tax and regulate this industry, just as with marijuana, perhaps it will help reduce the violence that goes with these issues, and we wont have this activity next store to the ‘donut’ shop!

Do you know what slang “Donut” means in Spanish?

Kind of a sick coincidence in this case!! But then again, we are talking about Woodstock.
