16-7-5 Are Votes in Richmond Township Trustee Election

Mike Moore

27-year old Michael Moore didn’t get his start in politics tonight.

He emailed me what happened.

With three people declaring themselves candidates to replace Richmond Township Trustee Terri LaDuke, who resigned to drive the township bus, the winner, a man whose first name was Robert, received 16 votes.

In second place, with seven votes, was Matt Meyers.

Moore came in third with five votes.

Checking with the township Thursday morning, I discovered the new trustee is Richard Roth, a member of the Township Planning Commission for a year and a half. He lives in Spring Grove and retired after 37 years with an industrial supply company.
