Congressman Walsh Announces 3 County Tour Town Hall Series

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Joe Walsh today announced the schedule for a series of Town Hall Meetings throughout the three counties of Illinois’ 8th Congressional District.

“Washington has done enough talking, taxing and spending the past few years. While Americans have been crying out for their voices to be heard, Washington has ignored them,” said Walsh. “I plan to change that.”

“I am hosting these three Town Hall Meetings throughout the three counties of my district so that I can hear directly from my constituents about their concerns and the issues they face in their daily lives.

“I will also give an update on what’s happening in Washington and how I plan to address the crisis of record deficits and debt. I encourage the public to attend and participate in these Town Halls so that together, we can eliminate the gap between the people and Washington.”
