Allen Skillcom, a Trustee for the Village of East Dundee who lives in the newly-carved 64th state representative district where House Speaker Mike Madigan has gerrymandered Mike Tryon, has endorsed the incumbent.

His endorsement follows:

“To dispel any rumors, Incumbent 64th House District Representative Michael Tryon lives inside the 66th District on the legislative map proposed by the House Democrats.

“The Illinois Republican Party still demonstrates a lack of leadership in many areas, but State Representative Michael Tryon is not one of those areas.

“He has been an excellent resource to Crystal Lake and McHenry County.

“At this time I would have little reason to not support the reelection of Representative Michael Tryon.”
