Dear Honorable Precinct Committee Members in District #4,

Linda Kvidera-Murphy

My name is Linda Kvidera-Murphy, I live in McHenry Township, precinct #35. Some of you may know my husband Brendan Murphy as your Republican Precinct #35 Committeeman.

It is my pleasure to formally announce to you all, my decision to run for County Board in District #4 McHenry County on the Republican Ballot.

I have served as an election judge in Johnsburg, precinct #35 as well as Nunda Township, precinct #21 for several years.

I have also, volunteered for numerous political campaigns over the past six years.

I am a volunteer mom at Johnsburg School District #12, as well as a PTO mom.

Both of my sons attend Ringwood Elementary School.

I currently manage a non-profit thrift shop in McHenry, The Pink Door Thrift Shop (Sponsored by Centegra-McHenry’s Auxiliary). I am also an Auxiliary Member.

Before moving to the McHenry/Johnsburg area to raise a family with my husband Brendan, I was a Division Purchasing Manager for Toll Brothers, Luxury Home Builder – Chicago Division.

I grew up in Cary, Illinois.

I am a graduate of Cary-Grove High School. As well as a former Cary-Grove Jaycee.

I have been very fortunate to have had and still have exceptional mentors in my personal as well as professional lives. I feel my greatest personal asset is that I’m able to utilize my commonsense to achieve my goals as well as help others.

“Living, working and raising my family in McHenry County has given me an appreciation for what our area is and what it can be in the future. I have attended numerous county board meetings and am familiar with the issues and challenges that our county faces now and what it will face in years to come. I truly believe that I have the experience, determination and willingness to be a part of the governmental body that will make decisions dealing with these issues and I feel confident that I will be able to serve the people in my district. I will maintain an open-door policy and will always be available to my constituents.”

I hope I can count on your support and look forward to meeting as well as working with all of you.

Sincerely,

Linda Kvidera-Murphy
Candidate for County Board, District #4, McHenry County
