What follows is in a press release from the Harvard Police Department:

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
On 12-15-11 at 1700 hrs, Harvard Police received a report that someone had been cutting the cords of Christmas lighting in the 400 block of Galvin Parkway on numerous occasions.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY/DOMESTIC BATTERY
On 12-16-11 at 1139 hrs a Harvard Youth (m/17 yoa) was arrested for Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery after striking a household member in the head with a book and pushing a school administrator at Harvard High School, 1103 N. Lincoln St. The youth was petitioned to Court Services and released to a parent.

DOMESTIC BATTERY
On 12-16-11 at 2326 hrs, Anthony Kazian (m-44 yoa) was arrested for domestic battery after he reportedly punched a household member in the face with his fist. Kazian was transported to the county jail in lieu of bond.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL
On 12-17-11 at 0159 hrs, a Harvard youth was cited for unlawful possession of alcohol after the youth was stopped for a traffic violation on S. Division St. The youth was issued a city ordinance violation for the possession of alcohol by a minor and a warning for improper lane usage.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
On 12-17-11 at 0605 hrs, Nicholas Hupp (m/18 yoa) of 409 Prairie Dr. was arrested for burglary to motor vehicle after being found in the area of the crime and in possession of stolen property. A Harvard Youth (m/15yoa) was also involved and was petitioned to Juvenile Court Services for theft after he was found to have stolen property on his person. Hupp was transported to the County Jail in lieu of bond and the youth was released to a parent.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
On 12-17-11 at 1400 hrs, a (m/17yoa) Palatine Youth was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was found in possession of suspected cannabis at the Harvard High School located at 1103 N. Lincoln St. The youth was issued a city ordinance citation and released to a custodian.

MINOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL
On 12-17-11 at 2315 hrs, Mateo Garcia (m-19 yoa) of 305 E. Blaine St. was arrested for minor consumption of alcohol after police were called for a disturbance. Garcia was charged with minor consumption of alcohol and was transported to the County Jail in lieu of bond with a court date of 01-11-12 at 1330 hrs.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
On 12-18-11 at 0258 hrs, Nicholas Dolgach (m-27 yoa) of 5416 Greatpine Ct. Jacksonville FL. was arrested for disorderly conduct after he pulled a fire alarm at the Heritage Inn Hotel located at 1701 S. Division St. causing Police and the Fire Department to respond to the scene. He was charged with disorderly conduct and posted $120 bond with a court date of 01-11-12 at 1330 hrs.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
On 12-18-11 at 0900 hrs police took a report of electronic equipment that had been stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 blk of Prairie Dr. within the past couple of days.
